THE COCOON

THE COCOON

The Cocoon is a experimental, dramedy piece about the difficult transition between childhood, teenage years and adulthood.

We all go into a cocoon and in the cocoon your both in danger and also safe and protected. You’re both socially anxious, and afraid of public speaking and getting your period for the first time, and killing a Miner bird on your first lesson, but also so brutally connected to your friends that you’ve never felt more loved by them.

Then, suddenly, you shake hands with your favourite teacher … and you’re out.

You’re flapping your wings, and you know that it’s over. You’re on your own, kid.
